Restoring the Recycle Bin on windows

Note If the system administrator to use Group Policy to hide the desktop on the “Recycle Bin” (or “all icons”), this process may not help.

Editing the registry to “Recycle Bin” icon to re-appear on the desktop:

1), click “Start”, then click “Run.”

2), in the “Open” box, type regedit, and then click “OK.”

3)locate the following registry entry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace
4), right-click you found in step 3, the registry key, point to “New” and then click “entry.”

5), type (645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E), and then press ENTER.

6), click your created in step 5 a new “(645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E)” item.

7), in the right pane, right-click “(Default)” entry.

8), in the “Edit String” dialog box, in the Value data box, type “Recycle Bin”, and then click “OK.”

9), quit the Registry Editor.
